Live Stream - Aircast

Aircast is NOT compatible with any DJI Mini drones that Use the RC1 and RC2 Controllers. DJI has restricted these Controllers from downloading 3rd Party apps. See Photo Below

Downloading the Aircast APK File

1. After entering into your project select the create tab then Live Video

   

2. Select on “Other Controllers or Phones”

   

3. Nova will prompt you with the URL “cdn.mapnova.com/aircast”

   

4. On your controller enter into a internet browser to where you can type in the URL from above

   

5. Once the URL has loaded a APK file will begin downloading

   

6. When the APK is downloaded select on it to install to your Device

   

7. When the app is installed select on open to enter into Aircast

Entering into Aircast

1. After you’ve selected on Aircast the Nova loading screen will appear then prompt you to enter your Username and Password

   

2. You will then be brought to the Nova Home Page. At the top of the screen underneath the Nova Logo is where you can Select the “Workspace” you want to work within. Below is the Start Button to Enter into Aircast

   

3. Select on Live Stream, and follow steps below. If you want to See uploading Flight Logs select this link

Selecting on Projects and Sharing your Livestream

1. To enter into a project you want to Livestream through Select on “Choose a Project”

   

2. Select on the desired Project you want to Livestream in

   

3. After your project is selected it will bring you back to the Aircast Home Page. In the bottom left it will will see the Name and thumbnail of the project you will be Livestreaming in

   

4. To share your projects with others, Select on the button that says “Share with”

   

5. From within the Share Page you can Select on on Groups or individual emails you want to share the Aircast link with

   

6. By Selecting the “Confirm” Button a Link will be sent to all the users you’ve chosen to View that Livestream

   

7. Returning back to the Aircast Home Page you will see the project and number of users who will be able to view the Livestream

Starting your Livestream and Accessing your Native Controls

1. From the Aircast home page Select “Start” to begin your livestream

   

2. When your Livestream has started you will see a timestamp showing your Stream is Live.

   

3. To enter into your Drone Controls Select the Button on the bottom left which says “Open” followed by the drone you are using. If you want to share the Stream with more people select on the “Share” Button in the middle of the screen

Viewing Aircast within Nova

1. When a livestream has started it will appear in the Project you selected on through your controller. A minimized View will appear within the Layers Panel

   

2. By selecting on the minimized view and enlarged view will appear. While in the enlarged view you can move multiple Aircast tabs while looking at the map view. All Tabs can be made bigger or smaller by pulling the corner

   

3. To enter into a Full Screen View Hover your cursor over the Livestream and Select on the square that is missing a corner in the Bottom left

Ending and Deleting an Aircast Stream

1. Depending on your controller you can swipe up or simply navigate back to the aircast app and and click on the end stream button on the bottom right side of the screen

   

2. After a Livestream has ended the Video will be processed and Saved within your Layers Tab in your Project.

   

3. In the top right side of the screen the inspector panel will appear. This is where you can delete your Livestream
