Real Time Data Collection (RGB/ IR/ Livestream)

Accessing Nova on your controller

1. Power on your Drone and Controller and Enter into the DJI Pilot 2 App Main screen

   

2. Select on “Cloud Service” followed by “Open Platforms”

   

3. From within Third-Party Cloud Services under URL type in “https://dji.app.mapnova.com” followed by the “Connect” button in the top right corner

   

4. Once the the Nova Log in Page appears Enter your Email and Password followed by selecting the Login Button

Creating and Choosing the Correct Project

1. At the top of the Screen you will see your Workspace with an arrow pointing down. When selected you can Choose the Workspace you want to work within. (If your user name appears “Jacobs Workspace”, Select the Dropdown and Choose your Departments workspace)

   

2. The Home Button will Show you all the most recent projects you’ve worked within. If you see the project you want to process data within select that project. If you want to Create a New Project Follow to step 3.

   

3. Select on the Workspace Tab to view all your folders and Projects you’ve created. Navigate to your desired project or Select on the Project Button in the bottom right to create a new Project.

   

4. If a new Project is created Select the Pencil Icon to Rename the Project for easier navigation.

Confirming the Proper Data Collection Types

1. On the Right side of your screen Select Orthomosaic, Hotspot, and Livestream individually or all together.

   

2. Select on Confirm to begin data collection

   

3. Navigate back to the DJI pilot 2 app to begin flying or Selecting on the Play button for your automated mission. (Click the link to walk through Setting up an Automated mission)
